Affiliate Disclosure
We think you should know exactly how a service that recommends providers makes its money. This page explains it plainly.
Referral fees
Some links in Compare & Switch are affiliate links. If you follow one and take out a product, the provider may pay LifeLedger a fee.
- The fee is paid by the provider, never by you.
- Your price is exactly the same as going to the provider directly.
- We are told that a customer switched — we do not send the provider your bills, documents or other personal data.
Sponsored listings
Some providers pay to be featured. These are always labelled PARTNER so you can see them at a glance. Sponsorship affects whether a provider is highlighted — it does not affect the order results are ranked in, and it never causes a cheaper option to be hidden.
We show non-partner providers too
Our comparison pages include providers we have no commercial relationship with. If the best option for you is one we earn nothing from, it still appears. A comparison that only showed paying partners would not be worth using.
About our pricing figures
Prices shown in LifeLedger are indicative estimates based on typical household usage and publicly available tariff information. They are not personalised quotes. Your actual price depends on your usage, location and the provider's own terms, and rates change over time. Always check the provider's own site before switching.
How else we earn
- LifeLedger Premium — an optional subscription paid directly by you.
- Referral fees — as described above.
That is the complete list. We do not run advertising, and we do not sell personal data.
Turning it off
You can hide Compare & Switch recommendations entirely in Settings → Switch recommendations. The rest of LifeLedger works exactly the same with them switched off.
